Health Visitors

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Attached Staff

The surgery has access to the following staff:

District Nurses - who provide care in the community for patients who need nursing assistance at home. They also run surgery-based sessions.

Midwives - who will provide a full range of maternity services.

Dietician - a monthly session providing assistance with any dietary concerns.

Counselling - a weekly session.
