Christina (Tina) Woods will be joining us from Monday 5th October as our ANP. (Advanced Nurse Practitioner)
She is qualified to deal with all kinds of ailments and can prescribe and refer as the GP can.
Bev runs our treatment room, which offers day to day services such as cervical smears, vaccinations, childhood and travel, chronic illness clinics, blood pressure checks and ear syringing after prior agreement.
Our practice manager is responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the surgery. If you have any suggestions on ways to achieve an improved service, any concerns, complaints or praise, then address them to her.
Our team of reception comprises of 5 members of staff who are all trained to help and assist you in any way that they can. They may ask you some questions, that you may feel are unnecessary. These are purely to make sure you get the appropriate help from the appropriate member of staff. Reception staff are bound by exactly the same laws of confidentiality as your doctor.
The Surgery has an in house pharmacist. She is here most Wednesdays and Fridays and is clinically trained to assist with all kinds of medication queries. She is qualified to do medication reviews.
The surgery has access to the following staff:
District Nurses - Our district nursing team are not surgery based, they are based within the community and run clinics from Bath St Health Centre and Jubilee Park and other clinics in Warrington. They provide services such as dressing changes, stitches/staple removals and blood tests. You will need an appointment - book on - 01925 251468
Dietician - A monthly session.
